If your email does not seem to be working, follow these steps before calling for support.
Generally speaking, if email goes down on one of our servers, the phone starts ringing until it is fixed. Over the past eight years, this has happened a couple of times for a very short duration. If "your" email is the only account not working, it is almost certainly an issue with your ISP, firewall, software configuration, etc. Before calling us for assistance, please complete the following troubleshooting steps.
1. Confirm that you have a good internet connection. Run a search in Google and click on a link that you have never visited. Links that you have already visited will be in the browser cache and give the appearance that you are connected, even if you are not.
2. If you are connected, go to the online webmail. If you can login, see emails and send, then your email server is working as it should.

Assuming these two troubleshooting steps are working properly, you need to seek an internal solution to the problem. Contact your IT person for assistance. Also, review your email software configuration:
